Iridology is an analysis of the iris, which provides a blueprint of the long-term health and condition of the organs. A picture is taken of the client's iris, and then analyzed for physical, emotional, and mental aspects of the client's health. The analysis takes into account what is genetic inheritance and what is developed by environmental surroundings, diet, stress, and lifestyle. Iridology reveals inherited weaknesses which may not be present, but client may be prone to. This information is then used as a preventative tool, before conditions develop. Consider it an early warning sign that your body is telling you what to watch for. The practitioner can recommend nutritional and lifestyle advice accordingly.

How it works

Thousands of nerve endings make up the iris, which are connected by impulses to every tissue of the body. The brain and nervous system connects these nerve endings and tissues together, and the iris forms a blueprint of these messages with nerve fibers, called trabecula. Tissue and organ conditions show in the iris when a physiological reflex occurs. Years of research has provided iridologists with a map, in relation to the iris, which corresponds to the placement of organs and tissues within the body.

What it will show

Constitution is a term which indicates the physical make-up, or genetic inherent strengths and weaknesses of the iris. An iridology analysis will reveal whether a person exhibits a generally strong or weak constitution. The color, structures, accumulation, and degrees of lightness and darkness in the trabecula will offer insight into genetic inheritance. Areas in the iris will reveal over or under-activity, irritation, injury or degeneration of the tissues and organs. Nutritional and chemical imbalances, bowel function and health, and toxic accumulation can also be seen.

Iridology will not reveal surgery performed under anesthesia as nerve impulses are discontinued. Observations can be made into a person's ability to heal, withstand stress in regards to the demands of their environment, resiliency, and stamina. Nothing happens on a physical level first, there is always a thought or emotion which precedes the physical aspect of health. Iridology offers insight into the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual realms.
